Softness of Bodies

Charlotte is an American poet in Berlin who smokes a lot, drinks a lot and rolls her eyes a lot. Charmingly abrasive and committed to her rivalry with fellow poet Sylvie, Charlotte is up to win a prestigious grant—if only she can keep a handle on her affair with one ex and the sudden return of another. After being busted for shoplifting, money woes and a mysterious missing pair of shoes add to her already long list of self-made troubles.
