My Friend Tommy

Tommy is a sheltered, real-life 40 years old virgin.  He also still lives with his traditional Christian Korean parents, under a strict curfew. Tommy’s never been on a date, kissed a girl, cooked a meal, nor does he own a personal bank account. Although left with almost no adult skills whatsoever, Tommy has big dreams. He wants to be a comedic sports reporter. Tommy graduated top of his class from the top school in Canada, that’s where he met his unlikely best friend Nem; a 6’9 former pro basketball player turned comedian who is his polar opposite.  After years of Tommy pleading Nem to “help him with the ladies”, Nem and his friends agree to take Tommy on an epic, cross-continental quest of challenges to rediscover the teens, 20’s and 30’s he never had. This is the quest to find his adulthood.
